Some Dope Black Girl was born in Camp Lejuene, NC. She obtained her bachelors degree in Psychology at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, commissioned into the United States Air Force then went on to achieve her masters degree from Liberty University in Human Services: Family & Marriage Counseling. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Philosophy of Psychology and enjoys coffee in a cozy place, watching the rain, sitting on the beach crafting, listening to music, reading, writing and daydreaming. She has a supportive and loving husband as well as a curious and rambunctious son. Some Dope Black Girl’s trademark is not only her honest and candid blogs but her creative, vintage, upcycled jewelry for women/men & her generously ornamented locs. Her hair contains over 100 pieces of unique accessories such as silk and ribbon wraps, a teapot, fishes, rubber duck, flowers, Pandora beads, keys, stars, a pharaoh, a Nefertiti, a vine, spoon, potted plant, safety pin, lollipops, silver coils, a lemon, a apple, positive words, a treasure chest, genie lamp, assorted crystals, sea shells and a scuba diver!
